ALNAP's 2009 meeting will be held on 17 and 18 November 2009 at the Kensington Forum Conference Centre, Holiday Inn London, 97 Cromwell Road, London, SW7 4DN (nearest Underground station: Gloucester Road). The meeting will be hosted in partnership with the Humanitarian Futures Programme, Kings College, London (http://www.humanitarianfutures.org).
Theme for Day One
The theme of the Meeting Day One will be Innovations in International Humanitarian Action, building on a study published in the 8th Review of Humanitarian Action. Gareth Thomas, Minister of State for International Development, will open the meeting. The keynote address will be given by Lynda Gratton, Professor of Management Practice at London Business School, nominated by The Times of London in 2007 as one of the 20 most important and influential business thinkers in the world.

The two-day meeting is primarily for Full Members of ALNAP. Full Members who have not already done so are requested to register their attendance through the link below. Observer members are also invited to attend day 1 on 17th November; however there has been a very high response and the places available for Observer Members are now filled.

Innovations Fair
Meeting participants have an opportunity to learn about humanitarian innovations from those who have developed them in real-world settings. Specific innovations will be showcased, drawing on efforts across the ALNAP membership and beyond. Full Member organisations wishing to present their innovations as part of the Fair will be given the opportunity to do so.
