In January 2006, Article 25 was asked by El Shaddai Street Child Rescue to assist them in the design of a new school building in Assagao, North Goa in India. The project brief was to design a new school building to house approximately 250 children ranging from 4 - 16 years of age. As it is an Open Learning school, the age of the children in each class varies. The Principal and co-founder of the school was looking for conventional classroom layouts within light, airy spaces that will have good natural ventilation and be able to contend with the large rainfall during the seasonal monsoon period.
