The speaker outlined their project plan for the development of guidelines supporting the use of bamboo in humanitarian response. Regional workshops had already been undertaken to inform its development, and they looked forward to further collaborations with implementing organisations. The aim of the project is to produce a pocket-sized A5 booklet which would complement similar initiatives such as the recently developed plastic sheeting and timber guidelines.
